We had been looking for a 2 family house or a single family to convert to a 2-family in Northampton for about a year and our old agent wasn't as responsive or knowledgable as we needed so we switched to the Hammel team. We live about 1.5 hours away from Northampton and Amy was very accommodating to our schedule and booking appointments. You had to book them quickly and get in to see the properties or they would sell before we got there. We were very specific about what we wanted and the area of town, which added to the challenge, but Amy was very flexible and understanding. After looking at a lot of different properties we ultimately found the one that was perfect for us.

They provide top notch service. They are very patient showing the properties I am interested and make sure the properties have good conditions for me to consider buying. They usually give me an idea of the cost for fixing or house improvement during house hunting. Nancy cares about what clients need and is very responsive. She has fantastic negotiation skills which help a lot in this sellers’ market. She has good resource of inspectors and other contractors as well. As a first home buyer, I sometimes had concerns when making offers. Nancy always gave me suggestions based on her experience and from my perspectives. She assured me with her expertise. I had an unexpected issue with the transaction which delayed the closing about a week. At the same time, my lease ended, and I had nowhere to go and stay. Nancy kept checking in and praying for me. She initiated the conversation with the seller side and worked out a plan for me before the transaction went through and the process was closed successfully. I am grateful to their help. They are the best real estate agents in the Pioneer Valley. Highly recommend them!

Wow! Nancy and Amy were wonderful! Working primarily with Amy we were more than satisfied with every aspect of the process. Nancy and Amy were immediately responsive, always professional, wise in their interpretation of events along the way, and super helpful. Whenever we needed reassurance (which obviously did come up from time to time) Amy picked up the phone and got right on it for us. All in all the sale of our home went amazingly smoothy!
